This article opens with requirements including "working modchip" and serial i/f. I have a working modchip, but does the chip need to be re-progged for linux use? How does it figure into this description?

OK, so I read the readme from the modchip code and I see that I need to bridge pins to choose between Yamon and linux... Thanks for my assistance :-)
