Although most smp8634/smp8635 based devices are quite similar, there are a few key differences

  • Internal vs external hdmi
  • Hardware/Software (gpio based) i2c
  • gpios, interrupt sources
  • scart switch, cheap gpio-based stuff vs more expensive i2c config
